Colors Colours

mom and sisSue just got back from their raya shopping trip in KL yesterday. I bet mom must have been shopping up a whirlwind there! hehe.. (like mommy like daughter la kan? hehehe)

anyways, me and Hubster haven't done our Baju raya shopping yet. I am still thinking which color should we use this year -_-

Its been awhile since i properly blogged. A lot has happen since my last post..

My transfer request has been denied and the first week of school holiday was spent driving to the MOE office EVERY SINGLE DAY! Huhu... The last day was accompanying besties to send in hers.. Hehe..

The second week of hols (last week) was spent spring cleaning! Ok, actually we already moved in into my sis's apartment during our wedding anniversary! so Yay! two things to celebrate on that day! hehe

Alhamdulillah, its been two weeks since i officially became domestic goddess a housewife and i love every minute of it!

I lov preparing breakfast and dinner for him! I also lov making deserts and knowing that he's excited about coming home to taste them! hehe.. Never knew that i would enjoy baking that much! hehe.. Will share some of the outcomes later! :)

Today's our First Wedding Anniversary in Hijr calendar! Alhamdulillah.. Feels like its onle been yesterday since we he kissed my forehead after the akad..

Doa agar Suami dan Isteri saling Mengasihi

اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ عَبْدَكَ هَذَا إِلَى عِبَادِكَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَحَبِّبْ إِلَيَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ



Maksudnya: “Ya Allah jadikanlah hamba-Mu ini mencintai orang yang beriman dan jadikanlah orang yang beriman mencintaiku.” (Riwayat Muslim no. 2491)



Amalan

Dalam hadis sahih riwayat Muslim, Abu Hurairah r.a. telah memohon Nabi s.a.w. agar berdoa kepada Allah s.w.t. agar memberikan hidayah kepada ibunya supaya memeluk Islam. Dengan doa Nabi s.a.w. yang juga menunjukkan mukjizat Baginda, ibu Abu Hurairah r.a. telah memeluk Islam. Kemudian beliau meminta kepada Nabi s.a.w. agar dia dan ibunya dicintai oleh sekalian orang-orang yang beriman. Nabi s.a.w. telah mendoakan untuk mereka dengan doa di atas dengan sedikit penambahan iaitu kalimah “wa ummuha” (dan ibunya) selepas kalimah “abdaka haza”. Hasil doa Nabi s.a.w. ini, setiap orang beriman yang lahir akan melahirkan rasa cinta apabila mendengar tentang Abu Hurairah. Oleh sebab itu, doa ini boleh digunakan oleh pasangan suami isteri untuk mengikat serta menyuburkan rasa kasih sayang sesama mereka.

Weddings! times TWO!

Today is a very hectic day. Both my BIL is having their bersanding day today. Which means, MIL is welcoming 2 new DIL into the family! As the eldest DIL, ofcourse i had my fair share of chores. Making sure all carpets and doorgifts are ready, handing out Bunga Pahar to guests and making sure that the Newlyweds arrive on time! hehe

Right after the majlis, me and Hubster went off for an outdoor shoot with the younger couple. Yes, you guessed it. Hubster is the OP and of course, yours truly is the flash holder pose director :p

Right now, we're safely home where we should be starting on our packing for tomorrow's trip, but Hubster is really bugging me with his snores, coz i wanna doze off too~! huhu.. i better stop.. :) can't wait for my Honeymoon tomorrow! *wink* ♥

6 Months!

It's been Half a YEAR already! How fast time has passed but my feelings for you just grows and grows everyday :)

of Babies and Honeymoon

Had a late nite yesterday. Initially, i wanted to watch the latest season of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. But then, i found out that Kardashian's were next, so what the heck...

Slept at about 11pm and woke up a bit late and with a throbbing head this morning. Luckily, my daily 1L plain water made it disappear! :)

Anyways, last night episode was about both Kimora and Kourtney giving birth to their sons; Kenzo Lee (such luscious lips! yum) and Mason Dash (Very Blond! :p). Both had the hospital and labour drama.. While Kimora's was a bit family friendly, i wouldn't suggest you watch the Kardashians' though. At one point, Kourtney placed a cup under her V's just to show that her water had broke *eww* but, i admire her courage of pulling Mason out of herself when he was coming out... My jaw just dropped at the sight of it. Kimora's was funnier as at one point, while waiting for her contractions to be closer, blamed her Husband for making her pregnant and suffer! Haha... I lov her! :)

What i loved about both was that their other half just stood there with them, watching the whole process, holding their hands and just giving their baby-mama words of courage and love... Bes gila :).. I cried after both show! Cry baby, i know! hehehe..

On the other note, both me & Hubster can't wait for our honeymoon this June! The best part is, we're going to spend our 5th Anniversary and Hubster's 28th birthday there! Yay! I am so excited! less than a month to go! hehehe.. Can't wait to spend a romantic getaway with my dearest Better Half! :)

Mini Pelamin - Necessity or Waste?

I have noticed that the trends nowadays for "Engagement" is to have a mini pelamin in the ceremony. Why is it? Is it a necessity?

IMHO, it is such a waste. 1stly, you are just getting engaged. As beautiful you are on that day, i don't think you should parade your self on the Dais, yet! Don't let me started on the Guys in matching Baju Melayu and songkok, grinning sheepishly besides his FIANCE.. Hello abang, baru tunang ok?

2ndly, i think the money that you have spent on the pelamin can be used on other things - fresh flower, door gifts, souvenir or a professional photographer. What would a nice mini pelamin do if your engagement photos are all taken via hp cams or all blurry and only a few compared to the camwh*ring phototaker?

3rdly, it should be and intimate ceremony, so the less fuss is better. Its just an engagement right? If you really wanna go OTT, do it on your wedding or akad day. It's purely YOUR day and YOU can always do it which ever you want :)

i must admit i have never heard this song or this band. But a few days after the majlis, my uncle handed me the video taken during akad and majlis. One of the songs that he used for a background music was "Bersamamu" by Putih.

It is such a lovely song that we both teared up, reminiscing the moment where we both were officially and lawfully wedded :)

Touched down around 11.10am only to arrive at Qp at 5pm today.. i am still too tired to blog but feels an obligation to do so :)

Summing up my weekend:

1. Lov our new Wayfarer! Yup! me and Beh we both got one! hehe... Bergaya la g Bali nanti.. hahaha
2. GAP is my current fav brand! The "Always Skinny" range really made my Butt looks great!
3. Am currently planning a new project with Hubster and BabySis.. I hope i can launch it soon!
4. Can't wait for Good Friday Holiday! Mau jumpa suami saya lagi! Huhu

a place to call our own

sisAleen offered us to live in her 3 bedroom apartment anytime we want to.. its empty now, of course but having a place to call our own is very tempting!

the place already got a kitchen, a washing machine, a fridge and a tv.. so we only need to buy a few more things to make it livable :p takkan la nak tdo atas lantai kan? hehe...
