Happy 2months old Dahlia

Syukur, Alhamdulillah :)

Day 2

Its been 2 days since I have arrived home in Kaching. And one of the
things that I did as soon as we reached home (around 10pm Sunday
night) was ripping out the packaging and parcels that I have been
buying for the last 4 - 5 months via online. Hubster had to persuade
me to go to bed as I looked so excited watching them all opened right
in front of me! Hehe

Almost all of the things in my list has been crossed. Now we only need
to buy the big stuffs.. Crib, mattress, strollers, car seat, bathtub,
etc etc.. Yes, they are all the big things. But, considering that I
would be having my confinement at my mom's house, we were thinking of
buying a moses basket instead. And when we finally moved back to our
own place, then we would buy the car seat and the crib itself :)

Speaking of, I didn't buy any commercial confinement set etc, instead
I chose to use a traditional confinement set. Ubat kampung made by
Beh's aunt, who's a mak bidan :). As for a confinement lady, most
probably my aunt (who used to be babysitting me and my babySis) will
be taking care of me during the day as my mom is still working, but
mom will be taking care of me at night :)

Tomorrow, I'll be having my 37w check up, my 2nd in Kuching.. I hope
baby's doing fine and everything will be sailing smoothly till the end
:)

GTG now, I need to pack the hospital bag! Thank God Hubster's already
done with the baby's laundry ♥

Its official!

I am now a Mak Long!
Alhamdulillah, My BIL's wife has safely delivered a beautiful baby
girl this morning around 7am.. She's so adorable! I can't wait to meet
her!
She was admitted to HUS yesterday afternoon around 5 only to deliver
the adorable 2.895 baby this morning.. Looks like she wants to be born
in October, after all! Hehehe
8 more weeks to go for me! Hopefully everything's gonna be smooth for
me too.. Aminnn :)

Its been a while

Cobweb everywhere!

Its been a while since I last updated this sparse and pictureless
blog. I am blaming Celcom BIS entirely! :p I can't seems to be setting
up my email account on my crackberry! Opening the laptop is such a big
effort now, as mobile internet is my only choice now :p

Anyways, Eid has been great, Alhamdulillah.. Unlike last year, I
managed to visit more than 10 houses this year, including the house of
the late Madey, who passed away a few months back.

This year, Hubster's besties came back for raya after a few years
spending them on West M and I finally got to meet their son! Hehe..
So, instead of just us couples, this year everyone's bringing their
own handbags and minime's. Ours is still in my belly, of course but we
still have a blast! :) next year will be a different story coz we'll
be bringing out own Chanel 2.55 along :p

I wish I could say I took a lot of pictures this year as I already
bought my own camera for this kind of occasions, but hey.. We still
shot them on our BB :p.. So no pictures this Eid.. Besides, my big
belly and raya outfit kinda dampen my mood a bit -_-"

Wow, this is quite a long one.. Next update is going to be about the
baby's progress, I think :)

its the 23rd already! and I just realized that I haven't made any resolutions for this year which is 2011! Last year, i made a few that i think i only achieved a few. Well, lets just say, i wish that this year will be better than last :)

a better WIFEY, daughter, sister, aunt, educator, cook and domestic goddess :) << i think i was better than last :)
save for Bali, KK, Jakarta and Baby >> last year was tough financally for me.. Bali made me broke! grrrrr
confirm position << haih still no news on this.. another bummer for 2010

healthier choice of food and lifestyle << i have started to drop choccies *although was never much of a fan* and had more fruits in my daily intake!

Au Revoir 2010

It seems as it was only yesterday that the school holiday had just started. But the truth is, I am going back to QP tonight :(

Hubster is suffering a fever now which makes me a little bit extra depressed about going back to work :(

If only I can turn back time :(

Eid ul Adha 2010

Eid Mubarak dear readers.. Since i won't be home this wonderful day :( Hubster is coming here instead! Yay! Cooking laksa Sarawak today! Have a blessed Eid :)

today, 2 years ago.... i was finally betrothed to the lov of my life or should i say my 1st Boyfriend :) It was a simple but sweet ceremony but i still treasure it to this moment.

Alhamdulillah, my engagement ring still fits :p but dunno if it will if i ever got pregnant nanti.. mesti swollen jari jemariku... -_-"

Anyways, i choose to catch my beauty sleep than watch missed the grand wedding of year last nite. But i heard it was awesome. Of course with a lot of flaws. Which ceremony hasn't right?

I also heard a fuss about Dr Halina's so called 'astronaut dress' which she chose as her cake cutting ceremony. Ok, this one I would have to side her. It was her wedding and if she chose to wear a clown suit for it, ITS STILL HER DA*N DECISION. She must have seen and agreed to worn them before the actual day. Even when some said that pity of her for having to agree to SMS request to wear them, have you guys forgotten that marriage is about GIVE and TAKE?

Anyways, congrats to the newly weds. BOTH are so gorgeous that nite and its really nice to see a couple having fun on their ceremony, even when its such a big rave and no no to the attendees. Hey, marriage isn't about the receiption. Its a LOOOONNNGGGG way to go from that!
