Prewedding

After a follow-up call from my photog, i started thinking about out PreWedding shoot.. Now, prewedding photos isnt' a must, but it would be a nice extension to be showed during and even after the wedding, later. it would also be something memorable for both the newly-weds and their friends and family..

so, after a serious Google-ing and BlogHopping, here are some of the tips that I got :) Hope it can be a help for other Brides-to-Be too :)



01. Pick out the Album concept:
simply means, how do you want your album outcome later.. will it be
♥ a basic album
♥ a storybook album
♥ a calendar album : where u change the mood season by season
♥ a magazine-like layout
♥ a comic book
♥ other layout which u'd think will be appropriate.


02. Pick a theme
after choosing your album layout, you shd pick a theme for the shoot, to create a ambiance or setting that u desired. examples of themes are
♥ hobbies : cycling, photography, camping
♥ profession: doctors on duty? :)
♥ walking back memory lane : maybe guys met at Uni, wouldn't be nice to be living the memories back? :)
♥ favourite dating spot ;p : this should be easy :)
♥ everyday life: candid shots while doing daily activities such as shopping or hanging out
♥ public area: escalators, mall, LRT stations.. the extra's will look great in the photo :)
♥ recreating a previous era: living in the 60's or 70's.. baju dolu2.. hehe
♥ movie adaptation: spidey upside down kiss? hehe


03. Choosing Costumes and Location
after choosing the right theme, the next step should be the costumes and location. Do prepare 3 - 4 costumes for more effect. please check whether permissions are needed for the locations. if else fails, u can always choose a casual dress shoot in the middle of a field ;p


04. Choosing the Right Photog
After chosing the 3 things above, you cn now proceed to choosing the right photog. remember to do your surveys carefully. Keep in mind of the budget and planning that u have made. u shd never be pressured into making the wrong descision :)
